Sequence Purchase

CCR is the original name used for Light-O-Rama Cosmic Color Ribbons. Other outlets have similar ribbons now. The ribbons have 150 LEDs that come on in groups of 3. Sequences see them as 50 pixels.

The original CCR Tree was composed of ribbons, but you can use a string of 50 pixels as well. In the descriptions below "16 CCR Tree" could be thought of as "16x50 Pixel Tree". "12 CCR Tree" could be thought of as "12x50 Pixel Tree."

Using a Purchased SuperStar Sequence in S5

You do not need the paid versions of the SuperStar Sequencer to play or export these sequences.The purchased sequences are special files that can be exported by any superstar license level including the free demo version.

What if I have 12 CCR sequences and want to upgrade to 16 CCR sequences? The cost of upgrading is the difference in the cost between the two. For example, if you purchased the 12 CCR sequences with no discount then the upgrade price is $10.00 per sequence. If you purchased the 12 CCR sequences using the 20% discount then the upgrade price is $8.00 per sequence. To upgrade, send an email to brian@superstarlights.com and let me know the sequences that you want to upgrade and I will email an invoice and upon receiving payment I will manually email the link and activation codes to the 16 CCR sequences.

Can I use DMX addressing for the sequences? Yes. In S4 you can export the sequences with DMX addressing. In S5 and S6 you just need to define your Prop to use DMX addressing in the Sequencer.

What if I have a 24x25 CCP Tree with Globe sequence and I now need the 24x50 CCP Tree with Globe sequence? There is no charge to get the 24x50 CCP Tree with Globe sequence if you already have the 24x25 CCP Tree with Globe sequence. To get the sequence send an email to brian@superstarlights.com and let me know the sequences you need and I will manually email the link and activation codes to you.

As always, remember that the purchased sequences are special files that can be exported by any license level of the SuperStar software, including the free demo version. In other words, you do not need to purchase a SuperStar software license to be able to export and play the sequences on this purchase page!

You will be purchasing a single user license. You will be licensed to use the sequence on multiple computers that you own. You may copy and paste effects from this sequence into your own sequences. You are not licensed to give this sequence or any part of this sequence to other users.

Note 1: You can run the 12 CCR and 16 CCR sequences on one network if you use the 500K network speed. It is recommended that you have two networks. Put all your 16 channel controllers on one network and run them at 56K or 115K. If you have 1200 pixels or less you should be able to put all your CCR/CCP/CCB controllers on another network and run it at 500K. This is just a guideline, if you experience lag in your pixels, you may want to split them up into more than one network so that no network has more than 600 pixels in it. If you currently have one USB485 adapter, you will need to buy one or more additional USB485 adapters from Light-O-Rama. You will need one adapter for each network that you have.

Note 2: To configure the sequence files for the Unit IDs of your CCR controllers you will need to download the free demo version of the SuperStar Sequence Editor.

Note 3: Your controllers can be at the top or bottom of your display. You can specify the location of your controllers in the SuperStar software by clicking on the "Tools" menu and selecting "Layout." At the bottom of the "Layout" dialog box is a setting for the location of your controllers. The software will export the sequence appropriately according to the setting.
